    hey all,

i dont know anything really about astronomy, but im looking tonight in a southwest direction, and i can see a bright sparkly star/planet (not sure),
its so very much brighter than anything else. and has been in the same spot, so ruling out meteors/comets and the like.

can anyone fill me in on what it is?

    thank you kindly in advance.

    Con
