I have a Belkin N1 modem/router in my office at the top of the house but i dont get a great signal downstairs - does anyone know if I can drop a cat 5 cable down & connect it to another Belkin N1 keeping the same settings on the second router - ie extending the wireless ?

I think the 2nd router would have to be set to access point for this to work. I am about to try the same thing so in the process of reading up. Let us know how you get on.
