I just bought my sis in law a sabatier carving knife and fork for Christmas and I'm really not sure it's the right present. She loves cooking and would have professional knives. Does anyone know if these are any good - they cost me roughly 70euros each. Just looking for feedback from any would be chefs!

Can you tell us who made them and where? Loads of different makers make Sabatiers and some are better than others.

Do you know what sort of knives she uses already - or if not the brand, do you know what they look like?
