Holding an AEG steady for test firing

I'm doing a bit of tinkering with the Aug A2 and am trying to figure out how to hold to hold it rock-steady during red dot calibration tests. Just holding it in my arms (as it were) means that it's wavering a couple of cms each side of the target (a big dot on an A4 sheet 25ft away), and the weird mounting of the Aug mag makes a prone position a pain. Any ideas on how to get it perfectly steady without using a vice (which I don't have!)?

Use a few pillows, put 2 or 3 under the barrel as far as the trigger guard and put one under where the mag will rest. It will find it's own groove.

Bolt it into a work mate, but realistically its never gonna hit the same spot everytime with perfect accuracy so i wouldn't be too worried about it.,
