    Hi,

    I have AVG free on my laptop which has been fine before but I have no other stuff on it. Today my laptop has been freezing and continuosly shutting itself down.

    Is there any other protection I should have on it? Preferably free/cheap....

    Do you have a firewall? AVG 8.0 free does not have one.
