    Hi, yeah LaCie have a v.good brand name, I have both 1tb and a 500g LaCie external hard drives, + other brands. All fine. It sounds like a good deal also

    Similar thread on here about an Iomega 1Tb drive. Delivery is extra. Its a good deal.

    They look nice but don't have the reliability of other drives.

    Take it from someone who works with someone who tests 3rd party Mass Storage drives. I hwould never buy one. I have broken about 4 of them in work. a maxtor 500g triple interface drive is the best drive i ever bought. Western Digital have problems also. If it looks nice and is cheap there is a reason for that. I rather ugly looking ones that are reliable but then again i dont have them in plain sight
