I've had my bird feeders out for a few weeks now and am starting to see a few different species come in, luckily enough most of them pay no attention to my van so I've been able to get reasonably close for some shots.

Didn't think that i would have interest in these but i actually like them - nice stuff and well taken.

getz - as it happens the OP has a wonderful primer in the FAQ's as to how to post your images in a thread. So come on - no excuses now!

Sorry, should have said, all taken with an Olympus E510 and Zuiko Ed 70-300 lens. Its not horridly expensive though, cost me €230 last year in Malaysia but can be got for roughly €300 here.

The best part of feeding the birds is that the feeders are just outside my kitchen window, I get free entertainment at lunch time.

Got a feeder the other day to try and get some shots, but boy do they munch through the seed! Waste an awful lot of it as well!

    Oh yes, and great shots.

I love these pictures, I have a cheeky robin that flys in and out of the chicken coop for food. Must get some pics up.
