After taking some inspiration from Cambo_gueno, i decided to give this shot of Brasov the Fake Tilt and Shift treatment.
Personally i think it shows that a fairly boring shot can be made a little more interesting if you give it a bit of time and patience, but i still think it could possibly be improved upon if i managed to get the whole of the clock tower in focus.

    Suggestions?

I love it - brings out the child in me!

Anyone know how adding these effects makes a photo look like a model? There must be some scientific explanation for what happens in our brains when we see a phot with these effects applied ?

I think its something to do with the focal point.

If you think about it, when we look at an actual photo of a model it is closer to being a macro shot, than the wide focus of a landscape shot.
So when we focus on one little bit of it, which is helped by the blur it creates that "small" feeling.

What i dont quite understand though is how the angle almost seems to change with the treatment.
