Best Price Business Class Flights

Anyone know how to get the best price for business class transatlantic flights? Just had a look at the airlingus web site and if you choose business class you have to specify the dates of travel.
Is business class always the same rate no matter how far ahead you book or what days of the week you travel?
My dates are flexible. (My wife is not a good flier so I want to make the experience more comfortable for her - more legroom etc)

Instead of business class, you could look at the premium economy offerings on the airlines. They give a much more comfortable journey for a fraction of the cost of business class.

It might be worth your while looking at flights out of London as well because business class or not, Aer Lingus are one of the poorer performers when it comes to trans-atlantic service.

    Try Virgin or BA.

I have used the Trailfinders business desk a few times and they are good at finding deals from multiple airlines.
For transatlantic, I think you can't beat BA business class, in a whole other league to Aer Lingus.

Agreed, Trailfinders in Dublin are pretty good. A lot of the bigger agencies will have negotiated business class rates. Check the travel section UK Sunday papers for the bigger players.

    Another vote for Trailfinders.
Avoid Continental business class transatlantic - narrow poky planes, crappy service.

An awfull pity you didnt post this earlier or I didnt see it.

Ba had a business class sale which ended on November 25th.
Their business class is proper business class unlike aer lingus which is a sham and even costs more.

The best way to get a cheap Business fare on BA or Virgin is to book accomadation with it.
I've used ebookers, the UK branch but always organise via email so I can vouch for them.
They will have significant reductions on the published fares as they block book them.

BA have fully flat bed seats and a better service in club world [their long haul business product] than Virgin in my opinion.Any of the flights to the states from Dublin have uncomfortable arm chairs by comparison.
Virgin do have very good lounges but the new galleries lounges in T5 are nothing short of excelent.

Go through this site to see what it's like.

By the way even when you tag on a cheap EI dub-lhr connection [booked separately on EI] you will be several hundred cheaper on BA than on the sham of a service on EI.
