Compilation of Car Insurance deals

These links will each give you different quotes. There are special deals associated with each link.

If you take the time to try this you will be comparing insurance quotes from alternative multiple insurers for each broker / link :) So each link you visit with will assign you to a different broker :D

This should save you a bit of time and perhaps put more options on the table when it comes time to renew. Its quite easy to save money if you shop around for your car insurance. This should give you some new avenues you didnt try before.

Link # 1 - Henchy Insurance Brokers (Young In-Experienced male and female drivers, cars with large engines and more...)

Link # 2 - Naas Insurance (Young Inexperienced female drivers, males over 25, cars with engines above 1.4L and more...)

Link # 3 - Insureall.IE (Special Rates available for mature drivers, second car policies and light commercial vehicles.) Competitive Rates available for young and inexperienced drivers, drivers with claims/convictions and executive cars.

Link # 4 - MC Elhinney RAE (General car insurance and special deals)

Link # 5 - FWE Crowe Insurance (General Car Insurance and special deals)

Link # 7 - PIKE Insurance Brokers (General Car Insurance and special deals)

Hopefully you will find a great quote at one of those links.

(in another post these links have been checked out and authenticated by moderator blade - thank you)

They can be found via 3 brokers as part of ther search comparison here:

Hmmmm.. could Jimpsta please PM me if he wants this re-opened?

Affiliate links are generally frowned upon.. and there's something a bit fishy about all this.

Of course, this could be a perfectly valid BA but an alarm's going off in my head (not to mention others)!

EDIT: Have discussed it with Jimpsta.. all seems above board.

Did you get a good quote yourself? :)

Cheapest quote I can find using that link is over €200 more than my cheapest quote so far.

Did you try them all?... Usually 1 broker is good for certain niches, you might find a better one at one of the other links.

All of the above links (even though they go to the same site) will give a completely different set of quotes :D

I got quotes from the Naas link, but when I click on another one of the links I still get the same quotes from Naas.

OMG! You are correct. This is a major problem. I have reported it to them.

It looks like your session remains active from the previous link. Sorry about that. I will post here again when it is resolved. Though I think you should be available to avoid it by closing all browsers before clicking the other link (sorry about the inconvenience but I will post here as soon as they fix this rediculous issue)

thank you for your patience :o

If you just exit your browsers between links it should allow you to use the different brokers. :)

They beat mine by €150, but I have already renewed :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,347 ✭✭✭kingaaa

I've been with Quinn for a few years now, but they wanted €690 this year to renew. Thats for a 40 yo male with 20 years full licence and full no claims bonus in a 2004 1.8 Renault Laguna. Windscreen cover was an extra €39 on top.I rang around and ended up getting what I consider to be an excellent deal with 123.ie.Fully comprehensive with bonus protection, windscreen cover, roadside assistance, courtesy car and cover to drive any other car third party.All-in €342 - less than half my renewal quote with Quinn.

Quinn have become a little more expensive recently for some reason. This wouldnt be the first time I've seen a comment similar to yours...

Whats the difference betweem PIBA & IBA??

You'll get more brokers countrywide on www.iba.ie

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 59 ✭✭Jimpsta

PIBA - The largest network of Brokers in Ireland who support and look out for each other and care sincerely about their customers!...

IBA - Smaller network! (I dont know much more) :)

This is a general link to the quotes rather than using any of the above...

Thanks kingaaa I hadn't even thought of 123.ie

Quinn sent out my renewal and it was costing €752

That's for a 25 yo male with 7 years full licence and no claims, with 4 penalty points. On a 01 BMW 318 CI.

The cheapest I could find with PIB was €792

123.ie is €570, with the same benefits as you have listed.

Well done dos30, a quote like that would have been unheard of 10 years ago!

For your criteria you might get a better one here

EDIT - Average Male 25+ is up to 568 with naas insurance depending on criteria...

I tried 123.ie, they are not bad!... Its always good to shop around though! Its one of the easiest markets to shop around in and with a bit of perseverance you can save a fortune! - Not just car insurance either!

I think a sticky for this thread may be warranted. Big savings to be had, and it will affect everyone, every year.

I agree, I also have my house insurance with 123.ie since last year, saved a good bit with that.In fact the only reason I rang them for a motor quote was the because I had my house insurance with them.Glad I did now.
