I asked in HMV this evening how much it would be and I was told €52.99 so €47.69 with my student card.

Anybody know how much it will be in Smyths? I think that will be the only local place to rival that price!

HMV seems to be the cheapest for games at the moment for all consoles. I have bought all my games there in the last month.

I think Smyths are €40-€45 for PS3 games!

ehhh highly unlikely you'll get those prices. HMV seem the best by far at the moment.

COD 5 was €45 in Smyths on release day (I think it still is) and apparently with a discount card, you can get it for €40!

So I'll check it out tomorrow, if not there's always HMV!

That price of €45 was just for a couple of days. I availed of it at the cheapie price in Smyths but my brother went into the same shop a few days later and it was selling at €54.99.

I liked the first Resistance on teh first run through but found it to be kinda boring when i played through it again. Never tried the multiplayer as COD4 took up most of my time.

I'm really looking forward to this game! I'll let you know what price I get it for anyway! Loved the first one and the Multiplayer was enjoyable, although I gave it a bash the other night and couldn't get into it, probably because it's so different from COD 4, COD 5. I'm expecting big things from the sequel, I won't have any time apart from today to play it over the next few weeks because of exams though!

Have this game for the past month. Shipped from videogamesplus and it is amazing, the single player graphically and gameplay wise is amazing. The online is great craic and the coop online is good too.

The only bad point for me is no coop campaign but the coop that they have is really fun and will last longer than the campaign coop. Wish there was both though.

Cool, I usually buy online unless there's going to be a big online aspect to the game, then I wait and find a good local price as there may be region locked downloadable content or whatever!

    Going down town now :D

Is the game servers going to be region free? It would suck if i couldn't connect to my friends who are buying it today.

They should make students pay more goddammit:mad: I had to pay €52.99 in HMV for it. But I'll go online tonight and blow the heads off those student players - they'll be the ones milling around the bombed out pub looking for the last keg of beer while Nathan Hale and I line them up in our sights:p
