    There is a place in Sydney called 'The entrance' which is just above Gosford

    so a short skirt is called 'A Gosford' (just below the entrance!)

    'Crack the shits' is my favourite - meaning if you crack the shits about something you've lost your temper.

    Another favourite is when someone announces they've done something that really annoys you and you respond with 'Oh good on yah' - needs a lot of attitude, e.g. say it like you'd say 'you bloody moron'.

    I have also heard 'fair dinkum' used in conversation, which is funny.

    Don't we say something similar in Ireland, but referring to laughing?
    As in (probably a Dublin accent):
