Fake R4dshc Cards

    Hi y'all. I think i'm after getting a fake R4 card. I'm pulled back the sticker to find 2 little chips, and after installing the latest firmware a notice came up saying "THIS IS FAKE!!!". I installed the firmware before that and now it works fine.

    So i'm just wondering... Will this thing brick my DS? Should I just get another card instead of risking breaking it? Also I dunno if i should try my luck with a refund... :confused:

    Yes it is a fake they dont make the R4 cards anymore.

    Well... yeah. I know it's fake. But it still works. And to be honest i've always had a problem with anyone calling any of these cards "fakes". I mean, aren't they all fakes in a sense?

    I'm still unsure on whether or not to just keep on using it. It seems to work fine... :S

    i suppose in one sense you could say that but not really there all just different companys doing the same thing. r4 english r4 sdhc r4 iii dstt dstt advance. they all work very well
