Ventrillo mic problem

Everytime I hit my hotkey i hear a slight buzzing. Is this feedback/static?? How do I fix this? My mic is in good nick, its a mikomi headset. How can I prevent the buzzing, ive messed around with all the settings but still its still buzzing.
