He's like 40 and still dresses like an emo kid, whats with that?

In actual stuff: It seems his new show Believe is getting hammered by the critics and dropped of the top ten ticket sales list in Vegas.
A friend of mine was over in Vegas not too long ago and caught the show.
He thought it was pretty pants.
Has anyone else gotten the chance to see the show?
    Any thoughts or opinions?

41 in a couple of weeks. Is it weird how he dresses?

    Alice Cooper is 60
    Ozzy is 60
    Tommy Lee is 46

Yeah, but they're cool. If you dressed like that we'd talk about you too! :D

Yea. The emo thing he has going makes him look alot younger than 40.
    I was honestly shocked.

Eternal youth vs. looking like an emo kid?
Not worth it in my opinion.

But anyway one of the most expensive and extensively advertised magic acts going down the drain....

Yeah I havent heard good things. Pity really but can a great trick really help a very average performer?

Have heard nothing but bad reviews about the show. Although I suppose that's the difference between a stage show and a TV special. You can't rely on camera tricks when the audience is right in front of you.

It's important to work on getting it the other way around =)

Criss get's slated an awful lot by other magicians. Alot of talk of camera tricks etc. I have it from very good sources that he actually does alot more than you would think.

I would advise taking a look through the audio archives over at the penn fansite and track down the Chris Angel interview. It might amaze you with what one of the top preformers in the business actually thinks of him and his work.
