Going un-reg for this because im very self conscious and embarrassed....basically one of my breasts is bigger than the other. I know that both are not exactly 100% anyway but mine is a considerable difference and i am really embarrassed by this.
Is this common?? i am in my 20s but they have always been like this since they started developing. i feel like its ruining my life i should be out enjoying myself at the weekends but its a problem even buying nice clothes i get hung up about it incase people can notice.
Is there anything i could do for this problem???

My sister had the same thing.... she had one reduced in size in an operation.

As a male, and I suspect I can speak on behalf of 99.9% of males in the world, not only is your issue a non-issue but it's also kind of cool. If you were my girlfriend I'd be fascinated by your larger boob and would be giving it lots of attention.

So forget about what other people think, and enjoy your boobies!

I'm sure female posters will have more responses, but a few things (a) you can use padding to even up any clothing (b) if you are worried about what a potential lover will say, most will be more grateful "OMG!! Boobies" than "O_o, different boobies!!" (c) breast reduction, depending on its extent may affect later breast feeding.

I don't think there is a person born who is naturally symmetrical.
Most people have one foot, hand, ear slightly bigger than the other. If the difference in your breast size is substantial, a doctor's help can be sought to 'fix' things.
You'd be surprised what people don't notice.

Fact is, size difference or not, guys love boobs. I've known girls with the same thing, and who've felt iffy about it, and it never ever bothered me one iota. Its the same as a guys scrotum - one testicle always hangs lower. Does it bother you??

Im a guy, and in all my life I have never heard any of my friends even mention this as something to put them off. I think youre being a liittle hard on yourself.

+1 Love your breasts, if you don't someone else will:)

If you had hairy breasts i'd be put off but your breasts sound cool:)

    Hey OP

I'm in the one boob bigger than the other club but most of the time I don't even notice it now. As all other posters have said (thank you guys for your positive comments on this) fella's wouldn't care and would even be fascinated... In fact, I had a boyf who nicknamed mine.. bob and boob.. *something about the extra Oooo* which I found quite endearing and encouraged me to just accept them as they are.

If the difference is substantial and is getting you down so much, I would have a chat with you GP and see what 'fixes' are out there... But my two cents is embrace your differences and don't be so hard on yourself..

I agree with the rest of the posters here. My last girlfriend had one bigger than the other but I thought it was great fun. I could pay attention to whichever boob I was in the mood for; big or small! Fantastic.

2 of my friends have the same problem, maybe problem is the wrong word as it is not a problem to them, they just stick a chicken fillet onto the smaller breast it levels it out :) and remember nobody is perfect!

I can honestly say it wouldn't bother me at all.

As far as I'm aware, most women would have this - whether very noticeable or not.
As people said, one foot bigger than the other etc. I would have one foot bigger than the other, only would notice it in tight shoes. I have one boob bigger than the other, but not by much, no-one would know, sometimes I don't even know if I'm right in thinking that! lol
But unless it's a MAJOR difference I wouldn't let it worry you. Even then, it's not a big problem, there are things to be done to compensate etc. As people said - if it's in a dress or something you can pad out the smaller one. When it comes to intimacy, no-one is ever perfectly proportioned and whomever you're with probably won't notice and/or won't care :)

Does the bigger one coincide with the hand/arm you use more? If so, make an effort to use the other one. So if you are right handed, use your left arm and hand to do more tasks.

thanks everyone! i feel so much better after hearing them replies!!!
im actually overwhelmed at the male responses to be honest thanks! I dont think i would do anything as drastic as surgery but padding out the other size is a good idea! any of the girls know of good place to get something like this or chicken fillets etc???

Thanks for all the help - i dont feel as bad now

    :confused::confused::confused:

Anyway, from my point of view there are two options. Give your boobies a chance and try to accept them. That is the cheapest and safest option.
If you can't, have them/one of them done.
Whichever you decide it will be for you. Guys never notice. They're just happy to see you nekkid when they do :)

For the record, most lads in my experience don't like plastic boobs. We'd rather you have no boobs at all. Only some lads actually like girls with artificial boobs.

Unless there is a really noticable difference, then I see no reason for you trying to cover up anything.

Another for the record, I went out with a girl a year ago (both 15 at the time), and she was really concerned, and was reluctant to tell me her secret until her one of her friends forced her to. When she told me, it actually made me think she was more attractive. She used to get bra's that she bought in penney's, and they were visibly marked to say what each bra did. (e.g. Left breast, one size...etc.)

my friend has one a cup and one b cup- i never noticed till she showed me and i live with her. she wears beautiful clothes just like any other 25yr old on a night out. shes jealous of my boobs because they are big and firm and round which i think is funny as my nipples dont match! i have an innie and an outie nipple- so i know the feeling ur having when ur with a guy! i dont feel like that anymore though as i worked as a carer for people dying of cancer. they really thought i was beautiful- i had loads of hangups about my body at the time which is silly to have when u are healthy. lots of women had there boobs removed - i have two healthy boobs so i stopped worrying!! you are a unique person , dont be comparing urself! be happy and stuff anyone who says otherwise. :)

    Hi Op,
This is in fact very common as you can see from other posters here. Generally the left is bigger than the right, the reason being is that it is closer to your heart and would have had a slightly better blood supply than the right when developing.
Absolutely normal and nothing at all to worry about:)

The pectoral muscle lies beneath the breast, so I assume his theory is that the "bigger" boob is actually just being pushed forward by a slightly more developed muscle.

    Probably just different sized boobs.

That is such a good word. Boob.

Every woman has one bigger than the other apparently. Even if it's not that noticeable. When I was about 14 my mum took me to get a new bra as I'd outgrown the ones I had. She loudly announced to the shop assistants when I was getting changed that I had one boob bigger than the other and that it might be hard to find a good bra. I was mortified. I laugh now but at the time I wanted to kill her!

I really wouldn't worry about it - as has been said most men just look boobies in general and will be thrilled to see them at all.

You can get lovely gel bras in Penneys. Just take the gel (like a chicken fillet!) out of one cup to 'even you up.' The bra will still look and feel perfectly normal so if you take it off you're not left with a chicken fillet hanging around.
