A win is a win is a win, but my God, the Colts were dire. I have to say Dwight Freeney is really coming alive lately, the guy is making sacks for fun. And Robert Mathis has been pivotal too. The defense can be proud of themselves, but that offense.... we should be the best team in the league right now with the way our ("weaker") defense are playing. Anyway, better to have these performances now, than the end of december.

NO and GB now done for the year imo.

Yep, thats us Packers done for the season. Absolutely gutted, what a horrible way for it to end.

It's all about the future for the Packers though. Some huge issues to work on, not least run defense.

Some encouraging factors though, Aaron Rodgers does look like he can lead this team into the next decade and has the offense around him to do it.

    Viva la Pack!

Thomas Jones ripping it up for the Jets atm. Two touchdowns, over 100 yards from 9 carries.

Jets losing to the Bronocs would be an epic fail.

What an opportunity for the Patriots to go joint top of the division with the Jets losing to the Broncos at ht. C'mon Cassel.

And New England refuse to take advantage.

And New England refuse to take advantage.

I wouldnt say refuse they just choked 5 turnovers piss poor. Every Patriot has a bad day today. It was always going to be a tough game but I didnt think we would give them it.

Not looking so hot right now dude, 7-0 down to the Bears. WTF happened to Hester as a returner, he has gone from being the best in the business to being pure muck, nice run for the TD though.

I love having nearly all my holidays not used up by december, I can watch all the late games this week!

What a turn around in 2 plays, goal line stop on 4th and 1 and a 99 yard touchdown pass on the next play :eek:

    ****. YEAH.

    Awesome.

Playoffs are in our own hands now

Anyone see how the Chiefs got their defensive TD against the Raiders? Oakland tried a fake field goal, fumbled it, and we returned the fumble for a TD! Hilarious stuff.

I just got back in time for the second half. The Pats were destroyed by the Steelers D. Cassel was sacked a few times, he did not look comfortable in the cold weather either. But there were a lot of mistakes, a dropped kickoff return which ended up with the Steelers recovering in around it around the NE 25 yard line I think. Then the ball got knocked out of Cassel's hand and it ended up with possession for Pittsburgh on the Pats 35.

Really calmitous affair. I'll put it down to the weather this one time. Injuries have mounting up as well. Adelius Thomas was badly missed today.

You have a very tough run in bar Detroit obviously. Chicago's is pretty easy and so is the packers (not out of it yet) It's by no means wrapped up.

As a Packers fan this is how I see the path to glory. We have Houston at home then Jacksonville away and final game is Detroit at home. This should be 3 fairly comfortable victories. The big one is the bears away, tough but we destroyed them in Lambeau so sure why not. If we do that we will finish 9-7 with the bears so ahead of them.
For the Vikings; Detroit should be an easy victory but then they are away to Arizona and finish off at home to the Falcons and the final game to the Giants. Losing 2 of those 3 is very possible and if that occurs everyone finishes 9-7 and Packer go top due to better divisional record.

Optimistic sure but I don't think it's an wholly unreasonable scenario and of course if this happens then we have huge momentum so play-offs will be easy :)

Bears will finish NFC North Champions IMO. The packers have slipped too far behind.
