Funky Galway Band needs vox and keys

    Hi All
    Well myself and 4 others locked ourselves in the Forge last night and what came out was pure funky goodness. We didn't know it'd happen but it did and we're gonna run with it.
    What we need now is a competent vocalist (male or female) with a lot of presence, who would be interested in adding to the funkiness.
    Also a keyboardist would be a great addition....think warm funky Hammond :)
    We're all dedicated experienced musicians with a view to creating something that is missing in todays music scene.......the uncontrollable urge to shake yer booty :):)

    Hey Hamsterboy,

    Looking for something like this but I'm based up in Dublin:( I used to sing in a funk/disco band, did a few gigs in Cuba back in the day.

    Good luck, bringing the funk back!!

    did ye find anyone? I have started my own indie /pop/rock band in Galway, but I would be interested in meeting up to sing with ye, maybe bounce ideas off each other? I would have a fairly versatile range. Le me know if ye want to meet up.

    What do you play, or do you sing? Any examples we could listen to?
