When i try to paintbucket that layer i get - "Could not use the paintbucket because it does not work with 32 bit per channel images (convert image to 8 or 16 bit per channel to edit)". just use fill, shift F5 or edit fill. Also if you're just filling solid colour do it in 16 bit and convert to 32.
