I stuck this up on Dance & Electronic, may be of interest to some here too.

Carl Craig & Moritz Von Oswald doing a techno classical blend with full orchestra. I have seen it done before by Jeff Mills but nowhere near as good as this.

They have also recently released an album -

Nice find! I'd swear the conductor is dancing... and I've never seen a classical pianist use Ableton Live before :pac:

Got the CD, and it is absolutely brilliant, essential purchase... CD of the year possibly!!! Reminds me of Music for 18 Musicians if I can be so bold :pac:

Edit - also (as expected) very Basic Channel sounding as it progresses... its unreal.

Love "ReComposed" two of my fav artists , a great combination of talent.

Carl Craig's - More Songs About Food And Revolutionary Art - has stood the test of time, its now over 10 years old and still sounds like future music. As for "the Basic Channel Sound " its my happy place music.

I should really hang my head in shame when I say this, but I still don't have 'More Songs About Food and Revolutionary Art'.

On the Basic Channel tip, I had a listen tonight again to 'The Coldest Season'. This really is an absolute gem of a CD. The closing track ends a truly amazing listening experience in proper dub style.
