Too late to defer?

Is it too late to defer for the year and start fresh next year in the same course?

Reason: I joined my course late after re-checks and I'm finding that I'm way too far behind and its just not cool!

Id like to know my options. Its not something Ive talked to any1 about, just the way I feel( Behind, Stressed and still annoyed that I didnt get offered 1st round).

It's probably best to check inside your own college - I assume you have a tutor or a Students' Union or some sort of student support departments that you can avail of and who would be able to point you in the right direction?

To be honest at this stage, they'll probably make you pay the fees if you do. Most colleges have a deadline sometine in october/early november for that kind of thing. After that youd probably have to pay the fees and try again next year. But youd be best off asking the student support dept. or whoever looks after that kind of thing.

Yeah the fees was one of the main thing I was worried about. Having spent 900 euro for me to defer now? Could I get it back?
Surely I have some kind of a case, after all, they did mark me a grade too low in geography leading to me entering my 1st choice so late(from another course/college) and finding catching up too hard. They can say, your too late, whereas I can say, mark the god damn papers correctly!
