if the problem only occurred after the service then i would check your spark plug leads and make sure that they are connected properly and in the correct series! they could have been damaged when you pulled them off.
your new spark plugs could also be at fault

If it is just after being serviced, the possibilities are:

    (1) Incorrect plugs or possibly if one plug was dropped accidently before fitting, the gap is now incorrect and causing a misfire.

    (2) Plug lead on at least one cylinder not seated properly on the spark plug terminal. Or plug lead was damaged when pulling it out and is not conducting properly internally.

    (3) Could also be a cracked spark plug.

I was looking at service kit for a focus and noticed they included a fuel filter, would that be an essential part of a service?
