    I posted this over in Digital Spy, but for those who do not follow the forums there, I shall repost here.

    I emailed Setanta early in the month asking about Setanta Sports News and freesat.

    I got the following reply:

    "Thank you for your e-mail.

    At the minute Setanta Sports are in talk in order to get the package onto the Freesat platform, in order to keep up to date you can check our website and it will give you updates on when the Setanta package will be available to Freesat customers

    Yours sincerely

    xxxxxxx xxxxx
    Customer Services"

    So it seems that they are at least talking to freesat. That can't all that bad.

    This is very strange as they have no way to charge on Freesat. Maybe they are talking about setanta news?

    Yeah I know but read their reply again, they said package not specificially that channel
