think i may get a new wah, ive used the original crybaby for about 6 years and i need an upgrade, it breaks from time to time too but manages to fix itself + it squeeks

So i was lookin around at some, ideally id like a tru bypass, pretty decent wah, i was liking the budda budwah the most so far, ... i played a 535q before rpetty good, but thinkin i want something besides dunlop, also lookin at the morley bad horsie too, but i was never a big fan of vai's wah tones

id love to try a fulltone clyde too and im a big fan of musician sound design silvermachine, but there about 300 a pop, any suggestions.?

I have a '76 Morley Power Wah Fuzz and absolutely love it! It may be a tank and run on AC but it's so awesome. It combines a wah, volume pedal and a wacky fuzz in one big chrome mofo of a case.

I got it for about 150quid delivered last year on ebay.

The best part is that it doesn't use any pots for the wah mechanism as it's optical. So less parts to wear out. The Silver Machine is a copy of a Morley Power Wah although probably twice the price.

I'll throw up a picture later when I get home. :)

BBE Wah......same brand as the Sonic Stomp.
Some under-rated pedals i think....like the Green Screamer etc.

I'm in the unenvyable position of favouring the Dano-Wah....quite possibly the worst looking / built wah pedal ever made....however....the sound is awesome I think...
It's worth a listen....it looks like a caddilac or something like that and made of plastic....but the sound....just briliant...I have one for recording and I use a dunlop live!

I was going to suggest the BBE wah also. Not because ive heard its good (i havent) but because BBE have built up a nice little reputation for high-quality pedals at manistream prices.

Vox have a Satriani wah hitting the market soon. Not that a sig pedal guarantees anything, but in the very least Vox know a thing or two about making a wah, so it should be a good one.

G&L dealers should be able to get them in. BBE Sound run G&L Guitars for George Fullerton and Phyllis Fender (Leo's wife).
