Hey guys, I was all set to buy a Samsung NC10 from Elara for about €380 delivered untill I saw the Advent 4211c available from pixmania for about €310 delivered.

Which one would you all suggest to get? They both seem very similar.

    Thanks.

Well the samsumg has a 6 cell battery meaning upto 7 hours battery from it.The harddrive is double the size 160gb>80gb...Available in 3 colours! The keyboard is meant to be better on the samsung too... on the other hand the advent is cheaper 2-3 hours battery life and only available in on colour but it looks nice.. .i was in the same position recently and went for the samsung

That advent has a 120Gb drive. It's still a tough one, personally, i'd probably go for the samusung, and i own the advent! Just because of the battery life. But the advent also has the benefit of 24%overclocking at the push of a button.

    Cheers for the replies guys.

Think i'll just go for the samsung. I think the battery would be a big advantage and I'd rather purchase from Elara (dont think they have the advent). Will be placing my order tonight!

I have the Samsung and the battery is amazing. It will go ALL DAY if you keep the screen brightness down and don't use wifi.

Even with wifi it gets near 6 hours.

Also it has a Fn combo that allows you to jump between different modes of processor speed etc so I guess that's similar to the Advent's overclocking.

Also the keyboard is the best I've used on a netbook and as good as any I've used on a standard sized laptop.
