Road works noise and the law

    Hello - what time are road works near / beside residential areas supposed to stop creating loud noise with the likes of Jack Hammers? And what time can they start in the morning? Anyone know?

    definitely have to stop by 10 pm (could be 9) and I dunno if they can start earlier than 8 am

    8am is the standard start time, most sites start around then
