Does anyone know if this exists. I think it was compiled in 1831. If so what sort of information is listed. Names, occupations ?
    Is it available online?
    Thanks

It does exist and you can view it in the National Archives. It's done by civil parish and you'll see a name and an amount on it. Some county libraries may hold copies for their area.

Thanks for that Pinky. I will check it out at the National Archives next time I'm in there.
    Cheers

Tithe defaulting is still controversial. This week some German politician suggested that defaulters should not be eligible to get tickets to midnight Mass....
