Wii regions question

    Quick question regarding my Irish Wii and Belgian or French games.

    If I buy a game in Fnac in France or Brussels will it work on my Wii ack here in Dublin? Certainly on systems in the past they wouldn't, we use PAL and they used SECAM or something like that, if anyone has any experience would really appreciate hearing about it.

    I'm pretty sure we're all PAL, a friend of mine bought a French Gamecube game and barring the language not being English, he had no problems.

    Just giving this a bump as I'll be visiting Media Markt in Belgium this weekend and they often have savagely cheap games.

    Anyone know for certain if they'll work on my PAL wii? I expect they probably will and I'm sure it will either say PAL or otherwise on the box.

    They will, just make sure there's an english language option.

    Fairly sure all Wii games have the 5 language in one for Euro releases. I have bought games from Germany with no problem.

    The games plays in English, only prob is the instructions but in this day of the tinterweb its not much of an issue any more.
