    Hi all,

I have an N series VAIO.

There's a problem with the wireless card at the mo....when I shut down the laptop the wireless card won't power on when I turn the machine back on.

I have to uninstall the card from device manager, reboot the mahine, it reinstalls itself and then works fine....until the next time I turn off the machine!

I've looked for driver updates but can't seem to find any.

    Any ideas?

    try the following-
There should be an icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen for the wireless.open this and make sure that wlan is enabled.should have a green box beside it.
Also make sure wi dows is not set to turn of the wireles.
Go to wireless card in device manager and go into power management
