The jump from 400-800 ( 1200 per round ) to 500-1000-100 ( 2400 per round ) is too big and leads to a good tournament becoming a crapshoot

Thats a mistake level 9 will be 500-1000 and level 10 will be a repeat of 500-1000 with a 100 ante and at 40 min levels this wont become a crapshoot

many runners for this lads(the main event and side)

it still goes from 400-800 ( 1200 ) to 500-1000 (1500) to 500-1000-100 (2400) too big a jump and instantly puts more pressure on. if it were to go 600-1200 with no ante it would only be 1800 a round. needs looking at imo

At the moment there is 24 registered for the main event and only about 12 for the side event but this will fill no problem.

Normally antes come in at the 150-300 level so this way still works out better id say, it cant be worse anyway, your just clueless :D

I think the blinds should stay at 25-50 for the duration.

    No pressure then.

will you be angling for personal gain from this tourney neill.i feel the need to ask considering you aquired a ticket for your ipc satt on monday for 1700 which ultimately cost the members 2000...yes the club has to make a profit but surely not in such a manor.a skimming of 300 is not much between 5 staff members but its just the whole principal of the thing.i of course am presuming you split the profits with the management.

Typical .... Ticket was for Dermot Jacob who was getting a good deal off Eoin and this did not happen in the end so whoever ur info is from u should ask them to make sure its concrete b4 u make urself out the way u just did .. No gain was made in anyway from the seat in the club won by mick Rossiter and i dont see how this has anythng to do with urself tbh . The seller was Eon Dixon and he was told it was for Dermot Jacob and i was informed by Fintan this change could be made b4 we tryed to buy the seat as posted in the thread posted sellin teh seat .. Happy xmas min raise .

Mods can i ask the question what this has to do with the thread and why there is constant trolling of the site by individuals ... Surely there should be a 20 post minimum for poker site to stop multi accounting..

Nice post, typifies the real spirit of the season.

I feel the need to ask this question,

Did you play in this satellite (because if you didn't I don't see what your problem is).

If you did we could narrow it down to who you might be seeing as you haven't the balls to post under your usual name ( 5 previous posts) or to sign your name.

I played this satellite, cost me €200 + €10 reg. IPC ticket is worth €2000 & a ticket was on offer for every 10 players & the remaining surplus was given in cash. Where is the problem here. Did everyone not get FULL VALUE for their entry fee.

Blazing Aces is a business, employing staff, paying taxes, covering overheads. To do this a profit must be turned & when buying anything in life the seller is usually making a profit, (and skimming is a different matter altogether) thats how they survive. If the customer is ripped off thats also a different matter. This did not happen here & I certainly heard no complaints on the night.

Whats the "whole principal of the thing" you speak about.

I notice in a different thread a very prominent player offering an IPC ticket as

"a discounted price to a satelite organiser".

Is that not a business deal for any card room operator.

Poster, whoever you are I think your personal vendettas should be kept private & off a public forum.

But then again if you haven't the balls to post under your own name you probably haven't the stomach to face up to your problems in life.

    Merry Christmas.

    David McCarthy.

Neil - you take the bait way too easily from these petty smallminded little f*ckers!

    Happy Christmas.

These single postcount wonders are really getting tiresome on this forum alright.

The fact that I'm very hungover doesnt really help. But we'll review the whole situation later in the week. For now, lets get this thread back on topic please
