I'm trying to get my laptop to get the wireless internet here. I went through all the instructions and did everything. But nothing ever came up asking for my credentials or whatever...

Can you get TCDwifi in LG12? There's a "compsciwireless" in my wireless network connections but no tcdwifi.

"Windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network COMPSCIwireless"

Is it possible to connect to the computer science one?

    Help me :(

Actually just after I posted the topic I got further. But now whenever I enter my username and password, nothing happens...it just keeps saying "click here to process your logon information for the network..."

Maybe I can't be logged on to this computer when I'm trying to connect on my laptop, so I'll try logging off.

    Update: Fail

    :(

    I duno....

Update 17:25: Yay I figured it out...somehow. It's working anyway

Thanks to all those who tried to help

Yes you can get a connection in their but it's crap and you'll lose it at any moment. Other times it's grand. If it doesn't show up on the list, enter in the details yourself.

You can't connect to compsci because I think it's for postgrads and lecturers although someone might be able to correct me on that. It seems like that connection is always strong:rolleyes:

COMPSCIwireless2 is a hidden network that I (a 4th year undergrad ) am able to connect to. Try adding it (WPA Enterprise), and giving the credentials you would use to logon to the linux machines in LG12.
