    How does this compare witht he asus 1000/1000h or the Samsung

    was goign to get the Samsung NC10 but the price shot up

    it's basically the same except for the samsungs battery life.. i was gonna get the samsung.. but when i saw the price of this... i jumped straight on it.. and that was even before the price of the samsung shot up

    This would be better for gaming compared to the samsung due to it offering an overclocking option.
    Apparently it plays games up as far as HL2.
    Nice for the car during breaks at work!

    It'll JUST ABOUT play HL2, thats with a load of optimisations.

    I picked up one of these for my BF yesterday for our anniversary.
    It cost €329 in currys in Jervis center.

    He seems pretty happy with it so far!

    haha, It's a tiny net book, not a gaming machine. Plays vice city and the likes very well, never bothered installing much else on it myself.

    don't worry its not my primary rig.. and no it didn't work..

    got it over clocked to near 2mhz though.. quite nippy... throwing another meg of ram into it tomorrow..

    then i'll see if i can rip out the 3g card from my 4213 and shoehorn it in there somewhere...

    then a 500 gig western digital
