    Hi there, i currently have a provisional B license and im looking to get a moped, Will i need to do another theory test and get an M/A/A1 license or will a B suffice

    yeahyou will have to do theory test since your moving from one category to another. Tis a piece of piss though so ya be grand. Although its been a few years since I done mine, one of the lads has the book for the motorbike theory test now and the fecking thing is massive.

    I thought you could get a 50cc Moped on your B License.

    Depends on the theory test you did to get your B licence. You used to be able to ride a moped on a B licence, but since they changed the theory test that is no longer the case. Im not sure of the date this change occurred, but its a while now.

    did the new one a couple months back, nevermind so ive booked a test on the 30th december,
