Setting Up Cubase

    I am currently try to set up my own home recording. I have already connected my mixer to my pc but I am unable to get a level coming through on my computer, is there any other wires I need to connect up so I can get sound through? Any help is much appreciated

    can you give us more info on what gear you have? mixer, soundcard etc.

    How exactly have you connected it? USB/Firewire mixer?

    im not sure what kind of soundcard i have but my mixer is a behringer eoroback ub802
    im using a phono-type connection from the mixer to the soundcard and i have a signal coming through on the mixer but no levels comin through to the pc
    how do i send the signal to cubase?

    you need to select your sound card in cubase.

    devices> device setup> vst audiobay> select whatever your soundcard is.

    This hasnt worked im not sure if my set-up of my mixer is right
    I need to know how to correctly connect my mixer (euroback ub802) to my pc

    its not working because you havent created an input track in cubase ill wager. if you want to monitor the input you also have to activate that

    once youre going into the soundcard line in on the pc then youre fine. its just a case of telling cubase to look in the right place
