mixing headphones + midi keyboard under ~250€

    while that is a good price for those products and they will do the job for composing and performance, you really need to be thinking a lot more expensive for mixing headphones.

    you really do pay for what you get and to get good balanced mixes you're going to need to be spending a lot more on your headphones.

    theres a few people on here that will be able to point you in the right direction and give you prices.

    Thanks DamageTrax, I also have a pair of m-audio BX5a's at my homestudio, while I understand they're not top quality monitors, I am looking for a decent quality pair of headsets that I can use as a second reference, not like 'the definitive headphones for mixing', but thanks for the tip anyway!

    I've a pair of Hd280Pros somewhere and they're fine. Their exceptional in one area, the amount of noise they block out is actually higher than most dedicated Drum Headphones I've seen. I recall 26dB but could be wrong.

    Yes, quite. However they I've never had them on for the day, for example.
