    Hello all,

I joined boards sometime last year but never really did much after that so I am really new to the place.

Like all of you I am particularly interested in photography and I would appreciate any comments on my photos. On flickr, I have created a set of my best 20 shots and will constantly change it as I replace the weaker shots with better ones as I improve (I hope).

Any comments and critiques would be very much appreciated. I look forward to chatting with you all here and seeing your work. I've already seen some amazing stuff.

    Baz

Are you using an Olympus camera ?
Those pics on flickr are really good, what lens & processing did you use ?

Some really nice images in your set there.

One thing I can think of - try to keep your signature/copyright notice to the same place on each image (generally either bottom left or bottom right).

    Otherwise, some stunning photos there.

Yes using the E500. I see you have the E510 yourself. I bought it with the 14-45 and 40-150 kit. It's a decent camera and set of lenses to learn with.

I use Photoshop CS2 mainly but I recently started shooting mostly in RAW so I use Lightroom 1.4 and then export to CS2 to finish the job.

You've got some nice shots on your own flickr page. i especially like "Gap in Wood". Nice framing.

Some very, very nice images in there Barry.

I'll have a proper look through your photostream when i am not in work but some fantastically striking shots at a glance!

Thanks for the advice. I had to start watermarking shots as they kept cropping up on external websites without permission. I guess that's the problem with the internet. I also resized everything to 800 pixels on the longest side.

echo the above. Some very nice stuff there Barry. Feel free to post a specific question on a specific image if you are wondering about something in particular - otherwise i suspect that it'll be thumbs up from everyone.

    Cheers.
