This would have been around 250-350 euro in India. Damn expensive here!

What kind of car is it? You'll often be better advised by an entire used leather interior than re upholster.

There may be other bits to consider too like doorcards etc.

Pick up a leather interior from a scrappy or eBay & fit yourself. That's what I did; less than €250, fitted - looks completely original.

Issue here is not about Average Indian or Average Irish person mate. We are talking about Leather Seat Cover pricing in Ireland. Answer to your question - How many average Irish person own house/apartment? Average Indian has his/her own house/apartment. Does it make you feel envy?

Try Cartronics if you're in Dublin, they do very good work but you're looking at a bill of €2k-ish.

Unfortunately, due to the cost of shipping a car to and from India, there's not a big demand for outsourced seat re-upholstering...

    I don't get your point.

Why not start quoting 1960s prices and tell the OP they'd be better off getting their car reupholstered 40 years ago. Things were cheaper back then.

Exactly! What has India got to do with the OP's question?

There were no AUDI's in Ireland in 1960's if I am right. :D

I was comparing price of leather seats in India and Ireland nothing else. if my comparision has hurt you guys i am sorry. no hard feelings
