Was buying a crimbo present for somebody yesterday and picked up an item priced 20euro went to to the till with the guy who was helping me and it scanned for 22.50. A manager guy states it must be 'old' stock and it should have been repriced yadda yadda. BAsically i asked him why the price of something that is old should increase as opposed to decrease and i got the usual im not discounting it as the computer says 'no'.

I understand the reason he possibly couldnt have given it to me for 20 as he obviously does not set the price but wondering has anybody else heard about GW hiking there prices up on a regular basis.

To be fair the sales guy was fairly sound and a bit embaressed by his managers attitude, who would not even look at us and spoke to the sales guy the whole time.
