Buy Vs Rent?

With an indoor CQB arena opening near me soon, I'm thinking about buying an AEG. Problem is, with a limited budget I'm beginning to wonder if renting the AEG at the venue might be a better idea. I don't really expect to play every weekend, maybe twice a month and once every couple of months I might go for a few hours on a weekday evening.

I know the above seems a bit stingy, but I'm broke from saving for an enormous trip to Oz. Any opinions on which might be the sensible option?

from the looks of the adverts section, it is a sellers market. seems most people just knock off ten or fifteen quid off the new price of an aeg when selling second hand. with such little depreciation, it would make sense to buy, even if you only pick up the thing once a month. if you dont like it you can always flog it. that is my thoughts on rental anyway.
