Taxback and pensions?

    Howye,

I have moved to work abroad for a while, so am about to fill the P50 "tax repayment" form.
I was wondering if there is any relation between pensions and taxback?

More precisely, I got the P45 form when I left my company, then I requested a refund for the money I contributed to the pensions fund, and cashed in the cheque (~20% of tax). Should a new P45 be produced after this pension refund? or can I claim my taxback with the first P45 I got?

    Cheers
