New Build Heating Questions.

Hi all. We're in the process of planning our new build.

We're thinking of going down the wood gasification burner route because we've land available and there's room for some trees to be planted along with the trees that are already up and growing. So effectively a free fuel supply.

We're hoping to add on a decent sized buffer tank along with the boiler in the garage.

The buffer tank will heat the underfloor heating.

And the buffer tank will be used to heat the water also.

This is where I'm gettin confused.
Would there be a hot water cylinder in the house too?
I'd like to put in a presurised water system in the house. Would the system I'm thinkin of be compatible with this?

And one last question. I was hopin to put the hot water cylinder(if needed) in the attic. Would that be possible too?

    Thanks for your help.

Bullman; how big is this house
How big will the buffer tank be
If it’s a pressurised hot water tank then it will not look like your
    conventional hot water tank
It can all be done for a price

I was thinkin of goin for a 2000 litre tank.

What do you mean that it won't look like a conventional tank? I'm guessin it would be designed to take more pressures but would that be the only difference?

I'm aware that you can do anything for a price. I'm hopin to do it all for a reasonable price :) Maybe spend a bit more now to save in convience and money in the future.

Am I mad to be even thinkin of goin down this route?

If as you say; you have a free fuel resource’ then you would be mad not go this route
2000l buffer tank will give you more time between burns and allow you to run the gasifying boiler at it’s most efficient
