    Hi
I just was listening to bosco theme tune on youtube...love it and still moves something in me:) Anyway I was just wondering, as one of my fav tunes is the theme to True Romance (you're so cool composed by hans zimmer)...was bosco written for the tv programme or is it another piece?

The "Youre So Cool Theme" is merely a reworking of a piece of music by Carl Orff called "Gassenhauer nach Hans Neusiedler (1536)" which appeared in the 1973 Terrance Malick movie Badlands. Zimmer reworked this piece because (presumably?) he noticed several common themes between the two movies, including the same basic plot.

As for Bosco, the music there seems so fitting to the show that I could only imagine it was written as an original piece for Bosco itself (I certainly haven't heard it outside of tha tv show).

Has anyone else noticed that the end part of Rod Stewart's "Maggie May" sounds like the Bosco theme?
