you have to buy max through a reseller in your region (i.e. europe)

dont buy in ireland because as per usual you will be ripped off to the high heavans - i bought my copy in the u.k. cost over a grand less than it would here in ireland. www.freehand.co.uk

if you are a student you can get a student copy for about 250 euro for a year licence, if you want to use commercially it will set you back about 4-5k

if you are looking for a free alternative look at www.blender.org

    Hi
I did an evening 3ds max course in the New Media Technology Center on Harcourt Street, Dublin.
    Here is a list:
    http://www.nmtc.ie/courses/coursesindex.html
3ds max isnt listed this term, they only do it when there is enough interest. Mine cost E550 I think, with City and Guilds accreditation.
