how does on demand work?

    My wife and I just moved to Co. Dublin from Canada. When we had UPC (or whatever name it seems to go under) installed, only she was home and couldn't understand they installers accent! She asked how on demand works but we still can't figure it out. When I press the On Demand button nothing happens.

    So, how does it work?

    p.S. By the way, you guys are lucky here, digital TV is way cheaper here than Canada or USA.

    There is no on-demand content available yet, and might not ever be. The fact there is a button for it on the remote means nothing, I'm afraid :)

    Thanks Alun....I was afraid it may be something as simple as that.

    Maybe that's why it's so much cheaper here....on demand in Canada/USA was brilliant. We watched it more than regular TV.
