I have a Sony Vaio laptop running Vista Home Premium. The wireless card internal is an Intel 4965AGN. The physical switch has a green light to illustrate that it is switched on and stays lighting until the Windows welcome screen, then goes off, despite the switch being on. I cannot get wireless networks now. Anyone with any ideas on what could be up??

Wifi is nothing but trouble on those Vaios. Try uninstalling that steaming pile of poop that is Sony's excuse of a network manager (probably hovering on your desktop in the top centre). Forget exactly what it's called but you'll see it in Add/Remove programs and under (All) Programs. This solved wifi issues on two Vaios I've had to doctor so far.
