My set up is a 2 year old iMac with OS 10.4.11 and running XP professional within Parallels.

i access the interent from both Os's

All was working fine until I changed ISP to Vodafone at home on Friday and the process required the Prestige 650H-31 to be reset to factory settings.

Vodafone tech support was not familiar with the Prestige so the setup was a bit hit and miss but it eventually worked.

safarai now closes down for no apparent reason.

Am using Airport as this is the only way I can access the internet from within the XP setup: the wired internet connection is not working.

    Would welcome any suggestions.
    Thanks

Mine crashed a lot after a recent update, particularly on opening a new tab or a download... it may be related.

    Thanks for reply.
Looked at link, this is from link

The first workaround you should try when encountering this issue is to turn off the "Warn when visiting fraudulent websites" option in Preferences.
Next, you might need to get rid of Input Managers. Look in the following folders:
    • /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
    • ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
    • /Library/InputManagers
    • ~/Library/InputManagers >>
Would not be happy to turn off the security suggestion and I dont have any unusual plugins and dont have any inut managers.
    Thanks again

I didn't turn off that security option...
I deleted the other stuff and downloaded java, flash etc again and now have no issues.
    10.4.11, safari 3.2
