    Hey guys,

Always a busy forum this one but that's a good thing!

I'm thinking of taking a month off this summer and traveling in the USA.

What I'd like to do is go....

Boston - New York - Washington - Richmond (Virginia) - Raleigh (North Carolina) - Columbia (South Carolina) - Orlando and then Miami.

By my own estimations it's cost about €1500 for flights, trains and accommodation.

I'm not sure though if I should cut off some of those cities and just concentrate on three or four for the month and so get to know them better.

I've seen Boston and New York but really didn't get enough time in either last summer so it's be nice to see them properly again.

Has anyone any tips on the cities above? Would it be a good idea to cut off some places?

I don't have huge experience, but from the little I have heard of Raleigh, NC - I would give it a miss. NC itself is naturally beautiful, so I would spend some time in the more rural areas.
I would also recommend you check out some baseball over there. Summertime is a great time to spend a few hours in a ballpark. You have the Red Sox in Boston, the Yankees and the Mets in New York. Both NY teams will be moving into new stadiums this year too.
Otherwise sounds like a superb trip - enjoy.

Oh - and a few days on Long Island, NY and Cape Cod, MA are recommended too.
