Free online text service?

    Hi guys. I'm doing my final year project at the minute for St Vincent de Paul. One've the things that could potentially be very useful is an online service that provides free texts.

    Does anyone know of such a site? There are a couple in america and the uk but I can't find one for Ireland.

    o2 have like 300 free texts/month and can be sent to any country in the world. compared to most other providers in ireland.
    i used to be on o2 but moved to Meteor.

    got myself an o2 sim card just for the txts.

    well i have an old phone plugged in sitting right beside my PC :) really been meaning to turn it off or unplug it - meh.
