I occasionally visit the news site "RIA Novosti" http://en.rian.ru/

Usually because the have an 'alternative' view of the world, especially when it comes to stories involving Venezuala's Hugo Chavez, the Georgian conflict, European enlargement into the former eastern block, Iran, and so on.

The gist of the story is that,
Ireland said no to Lisbon, bringing the aims of the treaty to a halt.
Now Nato is planning on enlarging so RIA Novosti claim, "there is even more need to find another Ireland and stop this process."
