Could anybody please help with the following?
Applying for Skilled Migration PR with Defacto visa to go along with it. Applying via ACS for skills assessment and unsure if manageable to pass without agent? (anyone know how much the agent really helps here?) Trying to get modl points and have I.T degree and the years experience required for skilled worker but to get the modl points we are very worried about the reference that needs to be sent, have read up on the basic requirements for reference that are needed by ACS and understand this but really want to get head around how much/what info is needed for reference to suffice, has anybody successfully done this on their own with good pointers for the reference?
Also with defacto, proof of relationship shouldn't be too hard but how much is too much to submit or what docs are best to send? (would an agent be better to go through in the above circumstances?)

    Any help & advice appreciated!:o

I would think an agent not necessary...many do their own applications. If you search for some of the British Forum for migration to Australia you will find people who have gone through ACS assessment independently.

If you do use an agent they should be MARA registered though even then many do not know the Migration law....and make sure you know exactly what they are offering before signing contracts and handing over money.... ciao Andrew
